Oil on canvas, 9″ x 12″, $250
Growing up in Boise, I have many fond memories of the old Greenbelt from my childhood with my sister and father playing until the sun was setting. There was an old, dead tree that had remnants of a rope-swing long gone. It was one of my favorite places to watch the sunset over the pond after a long day of play, not wanting the day to end. The redwing blackbirds would be chirping amongst the cattails as the sun would begin to dip and reflect over the water, casting long shadows toward us, signaling it was time to return home.
