Hosta La Vista, Baby
Artist Statement
The flower beds that line the front of my home have three beautiful hosta plants (among many other flowers.) Their abundant spikes of purple blooms rise high above the leaves – variegated and beautiful in their own right. With the challenges we faced during the first year of the covid pandemic, I decided to do a play on words in bidding a not-so-fond farewell to 2020. And so, Hosta La Vista, Baby is the title I chose.
