My Mid-Century Cohort, acrylic and latex on wood panel
My family split our residency for much of my youth. Three days in a small town and four in a big city. I had two sets of friends. Depicted are my small-town friends and this is what they do now. Starting on the left; me (the artist), then Charlie, Senior Vice Chancellor at a major midwestern university; Dick, after the Navy he pioneered cyber security processes; Gary was a victim of the polio epidemic and passed away at age 18; and Vicky is a restaurateur specializing in Czech and American cuisine.
