Wavelength is a complicated scientific measuring methodology. But as an artist, I measure mood…not the distance between waves. I hope you see waves here which is what I set out to create. And I hope you see movement, which I also set out to create since waves can’t exist in static surroundings, even on a canvas. And I hope you sense a mood of positivity, which I also set out to create to accurately represent where my psyche is right now…not that it won’t change.
I’m generally a happy and optimistic artist. I like to create texture, movement and contrast in pieces that reflect that optimism. I make no political or social statements, and simply want my art to cause conversations and be enjoyed. There’s nothing hugely deep or particularly philosophical on my canvases…simply deftly-colored creations that I sincerely hope you like to look at.
