Artist Statement
An August evening scene on the lower stretch of the Salmon River in Central Idaho. Painted initially on location from Billy Creek Camp, river right. 4420 CFS.
Claire makes art, mostly painting, but anything else is fair game as well. She loves whitewater, old funky things, animals, gardening and exploring in both nature and art media. She is also an architect, specializing in residential design, splitting her time between Boise & McCall.
