Pontiac Doors
Photography, 20″ x 16″
Artist Statement
I have a great fondness for old car door handles. Chrome or nickel stand up to the elements better than paint and steel. I love the contrast of the shine on rust. Suicide doors are some of my favorites to find. I get two handles in the frame instead of just one. The symmetry oh so fantastic. I wonder about the rides and adventures this old car went on, just what did it see out there on the road.
