Artist Statement
Quantum physics has created a shift in the twenty first century’s view of reality. It has given us the knowledge that everything we see is actually part of one vast ocean or flow of infinitesimally small particles that also take the form of invisible waves. Beyond the perception of our five senses, quantum mechanics suggests that everything physical is connected within this vast sea. I paint to acknowledge this shift in reality.
Artist Bio
My passion is color and oil painting. The result is hundreds of canvases I’ve created over the last 45 years. Most have been sold through galleries in Arizona, California and Idaho or through my web page – RenaVandewater.com. I’m included in many public and private collections across the United States and a few in Europe. My ideas spring from life: traveling and living on a farm. After my children were grown, I went back to school and earned a Masters of Fine Art degree. My work is harmonious and uplifting with a strong presence of atmosphere and intensity.
