Artist Statement
I started this portrait on Nov 5th, while waiting for the election results to finalize. Here is Inky trying to bring up the world’s largest hairball and reflecting my own discomfort this week. I have been itching to explore caricature, especially of human personalities, once I can muster the courage. I thought it would be safer to start with a friend’s cat.
