Artists Statement
This was a fun piece to do on Yupo paper because you really don’t have much control over it. The watercolor does what it wants and goes where it wants. It is suggestive to me of Genesis 1:2 “…and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”
Artist Bio
Art for me is a lifeline. I can’t imagine my life without it. It has helped me view things differently, hear things differently, and has completely expanded my horizons. Everything around me is a conduit for my art, whether it is a building, an animal, scenery, or a song. My goal is to create a mood or feeling that others can connect to. It is an ever expanding learning experience.
