I have always been a doodler and loved drawing airplanes. Later I became interested in painting and particularly watercolors. But it wasn’t until I retired and had more time that I began to paint seriously.
Locally, I am a a member of the Treasure Valley Artists Association (TVAA), the Boise Open Studios Cooperative and a signature member of the Idaho Watercolor Society (IWS) and Western Federation of Watercolor Societies.
Watercolor is expressive and fun. I enjoy using strong color and contrasts to paint complicated, detailed works involving cityscapes, old machinery, ruins and occasionally, an airplane.
