About the artist

In 2001, while living in a small town in the mountains of southern Colorado, I started nature drawing and watercolor painting, soon after I began exhibiting my work locally. I had the opportunity to stay in Tucson for a few winters and enjoyed plein air painting in the Sonoran desert. Having recently moved to Boise, I have been exploring Idaho’s remarkable landscape, camping, hiking and painting out!

I also work in colored pencil on still lifes, and make paste papers and hand-bound books. My background is in textiles; designing knitwear for my business in New England, where I grew up.

I am a member of Idaho Watercolor Society and Plein Air Painters of Idaho. My knitwear accessories may be purchased at Boise Art Museum store and I may be contacted to set up a pop-up knitwear booth at special events. If you have interest in seeing my paintings, knitwear or books, please contact me.
