Artist Statement
A clearing in the forest surrounds an isolated fire. Its flames and smoke lick high into the canopy, while its sound offers the gentle crackle of charring wood.
Why have you come to the clearing?
I am thankful for every step I take outside; it grants me clarity and inspiration to take within. I take photos and mix them until they are either barely touched at all, or barely recognizable.
