Artist Statement
The flat farm country of Nebraska and Kansas is known to have electric storms. They become more eerie and astounding in the dark on a highway. As you view the road ahead you see the lighting strikes across the horizon. The dark blue contrast with the light blue strikes on landscape. All but the strikes are shrouded in dark blue. They are at once mesmerizing and frightening.
