The Earth has an abundance of trees. Many varieties of trees. Without trees, life as we know it could not exist. The enduring value of trees, aside from processed wood and paper, comes from their ability to turn the sun’s energy into oxygen sustaining all human and other animal life on Earth.
During this process called Photosynthesis, trees harness the sun’s energy, using it to put carbon dioxide gas together with water to produce oxygen.
How do we erase 100 years of carbon emissions? Plant trees, lots of them.
My passion is color and painting. The result is hundreds of canvases I’ve created over the last 45 years. Most have been sold through galleries in Arizona, California and Idaho or through my web page – RenaVandewater.com. I’m included in many public and private collections across the United States and in Europe. My ideas spring from life: traveling, living on a farm and a vivid imagination. After my children were grown, I went back to school and earned a Masters of Fine Art degree. My work is harmonious and uplifting while having a strong presence of atmosphere and intensity.
