Three years ago this month, local visual artists in Boise voted to approve a mission statement to strengthen and grow the bond of community between visual artists.

Since then, we have grown to over 150 members who exhibit our work together, learn new things together, work together, and have fun together. TVAA mounts quarterly exhibitions of members' artwork, creates all kinds of opportunities, promotes communication between artists, hosts social events, facilitates interaction and collaboration, and wholeheartedly supports local visual artists.

As an artist, you are encouraged to get involved and share the benefits of community, connections, and collaboration. Your participation will expose you to other local artists, opportunities to show your work, and even discounts offered by art related businesses. The easiest way to participate is to show up at TVAA events. Meet artists, make friends, go to openings, volunteer to help. Your involvement is crucial!
